mannaggia. secondo m’\u00c3\u00a8 scappato un “eq 80” che non c’andava<\/p>\n

cmq sono soddisfatto perch\u00c3\u00a9, in uno dei due libri su cui ho studiato (CCNA ICND2 Official Exam Certification Guide di Wendell Odom, seconda edizione) c’erano un paio di cose che mi erano oscure.<\/p>\n

una riguarda lo Spanning Tree.
\n<\/a>
\nla storia \u00c3\u00a8: se non ci fosse lo Spanning Tree, quando si collegano n switch tra di loro, e vi sono dei link ridondati, si scatenerebbe un mega bordello in brevissimo tempo.
\nlo spanning tree fa s\u00c3\u00ac che gli switch si mettano d’accordo tra di loro (senza alcuna configurazione umana) e eleggano il “root switch”.
\nil root switch ha tutte le porte “attive”.
\ntutti gli altri switch devono decidere qual \u00c3\u00a8 la propria “root port”, cio\u00c3\u00a8 la porta che ha il minor “costo” per raggiungere il root. anche questa porta \u00c3\u00a8 attiva.
\ndopodich\u00c3\u00a9, c’\u00c3\u00a8 il concetto di designated port e di blocked port che per ora sorvolo.<\/p>\n

non \u00c3\u00a8 affatto infrequente che uno switch (non root) abbia due porte che presentano lo stesso costo per raggiungere lo switch root.
\ncome si decide in questi casi?<\/p>\n

facciamo un esempio:<\/p>\n

facciamo finta che il root switch sia quello pi\u00c3\u00b9 a sinistra.
